South Korea's first launch vehicle built with wholly domestic technology, following an earlier KSLV-I developed jointly with Russia. Its second flight in 2022 successfully placed a satellite in orbit, making South Korea the seventh nation to launch a satellite over one ton with an indigenous rocket.
