Pragyan is the lunar rover of India's Chandrayaan-3 mission, developed by the Indian Space Research Organisation. It is a six-wheeled vehicle with a mass of 26 kilograms, measuring 917 by 750 by 397 millimeters, designed to study lunar surface composition, the presence of water ice, and lunar atmospheric evolution. It landed near the lunar south pole alongside the Vikram lander on August 23, 2023, a rebuilt version of the rover lost when the Chandrayaan-2 lander crashed in 2019.
