A NASA space probe built by Lockheed Martin and operated by JPL, launched in August 2011 to orbit Jupiter and study its composition, gravity field, magnetic field and polar magnetosphere. It entered Jupiter orbit in 2016, imaged clusters of stable cyclones at Jupiter's poles, and provided the first views of Jupiter's north pole.
