A radio telescope array at the CSIRO Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory in the Mid West region of Western Australia, built between 2009 and 2019 as a precursor instrument for the international Square Kilometre Array project. It comprises 36 identical 12-meter parabolic dish antennas working as a single interferometer, used for wide-field surveys of galaxy formation and evolution and for the detection of radio transients including fast radio bursts.
