A heavy-lift Soviet launch vehicle originally designed as an intercontinental ballistic missile before being repurposed for space use, launching every Soviet and early Russian space station module, from Salyut through the first Mir and International Space Station components (Zarya, Zvezda). It flew for over four decades.
