An American launch vehicle family built around a hydrogen-fueled Common Booster Core, developed under the U.S. Air Force's Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle program to guarantee assured access to space for national-security payloads. Its medium variants were retired in 2019, leaving only the Delta IV Heavy flying until 2024.
