Messier 32, also known as M32, is a dwarf elliptical galaxy about 2.49 million light-years from the Solar System, appearing in the constellation Andromeda. It is a satellite galaxy of the Andromeda Galaxy (Messier 31) and was discovered by the French astronomer Guillaume Le Gentil in 1749.
