Story Musgrave is an American physician, United States Marine Corps veteran and former NASA astronaut who flew six Space Shuttle missions across nearly three decades, one of only a handful of astronauts to fly in every decade of the Shuttle program. He performed the first spacewalk of the Shuttle era in 1983 and later took part in the 1993 servicing mission that corrected the flawed mirror of the Hubble Space Telescope. Musgrave holds numerous academic degrees across medicine, engineering, mathematics and other fields.
