Soichi Noguchi is a Japanese engineer and JAXA astronaut who has flown three spaceflights aboard three different types of spacecraft, the Space Shuttle, a Russian Soyuz, and a SpaceX Crew Dragon, making him the first person to fly operational missions on all three vehicle types. He performed spacewalks during the first Shuttle mission to fly after the 2003 Columbia disaster, helping demonstrate new safety and repair procedures for the fleet.
