Lai Ka-ying is a Hong Kong astronaut who flew to the Tiangong space station as part of the Shenzhou 23 mission. She is Hong Kong's first astronaut, the fourth Chinese woman to travel to space, and China's first female payload specialist, having previously served as a superintendent in the Hong Kong Police Force.
