Jessica Watkins is an American NASA astronaut, geologist, aquanaut and former international rugby player. In April 2022 she was announced as the first Black woman to serve on the International Space Station for a long-term mission, and on June 9, 2022 she surpassed Stephanie Wilson to become the Black woman with the most cumulative time in space.
