Chris Cassidy is an American former NASA astronaut and retired United States Navy SEAL officer who flew three spaceflights, including a Space Shuttle mission and two long-duration stays aboard the International Space Station. On his final mission in 2020 he commanded Expedition 63, overseeing station operations during the arrival of the first crewed SpaceX Crew Dragon flight, a major milestone in NASAs commercial crew program.
