Innospace is a South Korean aerospace startup headquartered in Sejong City that develops hybrid rocket technology for commercial launch services. Founded in September 2017 by Kim Soo-jong, the company launched its HANBIT-TLV suborbital test rocket from the Alcantara Space Center in Brazil on March 21, 2023, becoming the first South Korean private-sector rocket launch. Innospace rocket family includes the HANBIT-Nano, HANBIT-Micro and HANBIT-Mini vehicles for small satellite deployment, and it signed commercial launch contracts with Italian and Thai satellite companies in June 2024 for services beginning in 2025. The company went public on July 2, 2024, and has independently developed its own launch pad for the HANBIT-Nano vehicle.
